I took part in the Google for Education challenge to explore new features in Google Workspace. This meant participating at the demo stations and attending 3 demo slams. The learning I gained from this is a game changer for me, especially the data visualisations and analysis available now in Google Sheets. To access these features you do need the pro version, something I am fortunate to have. I am also excited to start using NotebookLM in my classroom as even though this has been around for a while, I am yet to use it effectively in my teaching. What I really like is that NotebookLM uses only what I upload to it to create a multimodal options so all my learners will have the same opportunities to access the learning. The podcast feature will definitely remove the cognitive overload my struggling readers face and give them more independence in the classroom. I'm looking forward to exploring the features the studio has to offer.
